SOAR is Lincoln Square Coaching's comprehensive transition curriculum for youth ages 14–22 with complex support needs. Developed by experienced vocational rehabilitation professionals and educators, SOAR meets the needs of students who benefit from visual supports, concrete instruction, and repeated practice.

SOAR was designed for students who:

  • Have limited exposure to structured transition planning
  • Require visual, hands-on, and scaffolded instruction
  • Need support building self-awareness, workplace readiness, and advocacy
  • May struggle to fully participate in traditional group-based Pre-ETS offerings

Who Can Benefit from SOAR?

SOAR is appropriate for students with a wide range of support needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual or developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, emotional or behavioral challenges, and physical or sensory differences.

Each module includes embedded differentiation strategies and allows facilitators to tailor instruction for varying ability levels.
