Career Services for Youth and Adults with Disabilities

Joseph Amodeo is a workforce development leader, career counselor, and researcher dedicated to building inclusive pathways to employment for all professionals. As the founder and CEO of Lincoln Square Coaching, he leads a mission-driven organization that provides person-centered career services, from transition support for youth with disabilities through partnerships with the New York State Education Department (ACCES-VR) and New Jersey's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services to private career coaching for professionals at any career stage.

Before launching Lincoln Square Coaching, Joseph spent over 14 years in leadership roles at QSAC Inc., a New York City nonprofit serving individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As Director of Career Development and Communications, he launched and directed the organization's transition and vocational rehabilitation programs. Earlier in his tenure, he led its development and fundraising, securing more than $5 million in private grants, including the largest philanthropic grant in QSAC's 40-year history, as well as workforce development initiatives funded by the New York State Department of Labor and a capital grant from the Empire State Development Corporation.

Joseph is completing doctoral studies in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership, with concentrations in Human Resource Development and Diversity in Education, at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research examines how career development practitioners in vocational rehabilitation and workforce settings make sense of their professional role and the people they serve, and what about that sense-making enables or blocks person-centered, rather than system-centered, practice. He approaches practitioner growth as a developmental question, drawing on constructive-developmental theory, with implications for how the field designs professional development. This work shapes how Lincoln Square Coaching develops its counselors and structures supervision, and it informs the design of the SOAR transition curriculum. He has presented his work at local, national, and international conferences.

Joseph is a New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). He also holds several advanced certifications: Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE), Certified Career Counselor (CCC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), Certified Case Manager (CCM), Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). He is a professional member of the Vocational Evaluation & Career Assessment Professionals (VECAP) and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).

Gabrielle Conway brings over a decade of experience in higher education and student affairs to her role as Senior Director of Student Services at Lincoln Square Coaching (LSC). She is deeply committed to supporting student success, particularly for individuals navigating complex academic, social, and accessibility needs. At LSC, Gabrielle oversees student-centered initiatives that foster inclusion, advocacy, and empowerment, ensuring that every learner has the tools and support necessary to thrive.

Prior to joining LSC, Gabrielle served for more than a decade at the City University of New York (CUNY), most recently in the Central Office of Student Affairs. In this capacity, she collaborated with senior leadership on university-wide programs and services including the University Student Senate, administration of student affairs scholarships, and serving as liaison to CUNY's Coalition of Students with Disabilities.

Gabrielle earned her Master's degree in Disability Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Lehman College. Her academic and professional journey demonstrates her passion and dedication to advancing opportunities for students and creating environments where all learners can succeed.

Annie Dewey is the Chief School Partnerships Officer (CSPO) at Lincoln Square Coaching (LSC), where she leads and supports the expansion of our school-based transition services division. In this role, she oversees all aspects of LSC's school partnerships, including relationship management, staffing, program development, curriculum design, and service delivery.

Annie brings over a decade of experience across education, workforce development, and consulting. Before joining LSC, Annie worked as a director of client management at a data and insights firm, where she led strategic projects and client operations. She has also held roles in higher education at Boston College and Fairfield University, where she supported students in their transition to employment.

Annie holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a master's degree in higher education from Boston College. She has completed advanced training in employment services for people with disabilities through the Institute for Community Integration (ICI) at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Lauryn Geimer-Miranti is the Director of Operations at LSC, bringing over twelve years of experience supporting executives, entrepreneurs, and creative teams. She's passionate about building structure that creates space for clarity, collaboration, and meaningful work to thrive.

With a background rooted in executive support and business management, Lauryn blends strategic thinking with empathy and precision. She's known for her calm, thoughtful approach and her ability to turn big-picture goals into organized, achievable action. Guided by integrity and care, Lauryn ensures that every detail supports the people and purpose behind LSC's work.

Fran Nunziata is a human resources professional with over 19 years of experience at Calvary Hospital. At LSC, Fran serves as the Human Resources and Career Coaching Manager. Through her career coaching practice, Fran specializes in supporting students and adults.

Most recently, Fran served as the Senior Director of Human Resources, where she was responsible for compliance, benefits, recruitment, relations, orientation, policy, and management for over 1,000 employees. She is also an experienced public speaker on employee development topics and HR best practices.

She has a master's degree in communications from Fordham University and a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston College. She has completed advanced training in the Skills System, a DBT-informed skills program for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Fran is skilled in various HR areas, such as employee benefits, recruiting, regulatory compliance, and management. She is also interested in youth development, college counseling, and career services. Prior to her tenure at Calvary, Fran served as the Director of the College and Career Information Center at Pelham Memorial High School and the Director of Youth Employment Services for the Town of Pelham (Westchester County). She is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

Sarah Tancer brings a background in education, youth development, and mental health support to her work at LSC. She has taught and student-taught in early childhood and elementary settings in New Orleans, designed and led after-school art and STEM programming, and spent multiple summers as a head counselor and one-on-one support staff at Sunrise Association, working closely with children navigating complex medical, developmental, and emotional needs.

Since early 2025, Sarah has worked as a Transition Specialist at Lincoln Square Coaching, where she supports young adults building the skills, confidence, and self-knowledge needed to step into adult life.

Sarah is currently pursuing a Master's in Social Work in the clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups track at Hunter College. She graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Early Childhood Education and a Liberal Arts Certificate in Gender-Based Violence Studies. She also completed studies in Developmental and Child Psychology at DIS Copenhagen. Sarah is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Luca Treppiedi joined LSC in 2026 as a Marketing and Communications Intern.

Luca is an accomplished artist who has presented and discussed his artwork at the Guggenheim as a part of their neurodivergent artist series. His artwork has been exhibited at galleries throughout New York City, including a 2024 exhibition at the Open Studio in Manhattan's Lower East Side.

Luca is a member of The Land in Brooklyn, a studio and gallery. He graduated from the Cooke School and Institute.

Nicolette-Marie Tsialas is a Transition Specialist at LSC, where she works directly at school partner sites. She also provides one-on-one career counseling and development services to adults preparing for the working world.

Previously, she worked at Psychological Facts PLLC, where she developed specialized guidebooks and six-week wellness programs supporting clients in managing anxiety and improving social skills. She also had a long tenure as a peer tutor—a role that gave her direct practice breaking complex material into manageable, actionable steps.

Nicolette graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology. She is a member of Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology. She has completed advanced training in the Skills System, a DBT-informed skills program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Aida Wanis is a Career Counselor and Vocational Evaluator at LSC. She joined the practice in the fall of 2025 as an Associate Career Counselor and works with youth and adults as they explore career interests, build employment readiness, and move toward meaningful work. Her approach is grounded in person-centered planning, and she holds a steady conviction that every person she works with brings real strengths worth building on. She meets clients where they are and helps them shape goals that reflect who they are and what they want from their working lives.

Aida earned her Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Hunter College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the CUNY College of Staten Island, where she graduated magna cum laude with a minor in Disability Studies and Criminology. Before joining LSC, she supported students with developmental disabilities across several CUNY campuses, coordinating individualized plans and advocating for the services they needed to reach their goals. She has completed advanced training in the Skills System, a DBT-informed curriculum designed to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Aida is fluent in Arabic.
