Transition Services for Schools

Lincoln Square Coaching partners with public, charter, and nonpublic schools in NY and NJ to deliver on-site Pre-ETS instruction at no cost through ACCES-VR and DVRS.

We provide transition programming, professional development, family workshops, and coordination support that prepares students for life after high school.

PRE-ETS SERVICES

What We Provide

Our Pre-ETS instruction is built around SOAR: Self-Discovery, Opportunities, Advocacy, and Readiness.

Job Exploration Counseling

A small group curriculum using games, visuals, and activities to explore career interests, job clusters, and work preferences.

Workplace Readiness Training

Prepares students for workplace success through instruction in hygiene routines, time management, teamwork, and social skills.

Instruction in Self-Advocacy

Trains students to understand their rights, communicate their needs, and advocate for themselves in educational and workplace settings.

Post-Secondary Counseling

1:1 guidance sessions exploring options including college, vocational training, adult day programs, or employment supports.

Whole-Person Transition Assessments

Comprehensive, strengths-based assessments to inform IEP development and guide planning.

Helping families understand and access OPWDD, ACCES-VR/DVRS, Medicaid Waiver, and more.

Professional Development

Trainings for staff on transition planning, behavioral supports, and regulatory compliance.

Transition Coordination Partnership

On-site or virtual support for referral management, student tracking, and systems navigation.
