Lincoln Square Coaching provides comprehensive support services at both individual and institutional levels. For individuals with disabilities, we offer specialized evaluations, career guidance, and transition support through our ACCES-VR partnerships. For institutions of higher education, we deliver professional development and consulting services to enhance career planning programs and ensure compliance with initiatives like Perkins V, ultimately creating more inclusive and effective support systems for students with disabilities.
Transition Services for Youth
We support youth with disabilities as they prepare for adulthood through our ACCES-VR-funded Transition Services. Our personalized approach helps students build confidence, skills, and a clear plan for their future. Services include:
- Career counseling and exploration
- Job readiness and workplace skills training
- Education planning and goal setting
- Employment placement support
- Hands-on skill development
Vocational Evaluations and Career Exploration
Our comprehensive evaluations help individuals identify their strengths, interests, and best-fit career paths. Services—offered through ACCES-VR—include:
- Aptitude and interest testing
- Work values and transferable skills assessments
- Career exploration and planning sessions
- Detailed reports with clear, actionable recommendations
We also conduct independent vocational evaluations that address the impact of disability on employment. These evaluations can support service planning, accommodations, or legal and benefits-related matters.
Coaching Supports for Life, Academic, Social, and Executive Functioning (EF) Skills
We offer individualized coaching to support youth and young adults with disabilities in building the skills they need for greater independence, success, and confidence. Services are available through ACCES-VR for eligible participants or via private pay with a sliding scale. Coaching supports include:
- Life and daily living skills
- Academic and school success strategies
- Social skills and relationship-building
- Executive functioning and self-management
- Goal setting and personal development
Skills Training to Promote Success in the Workplace
Our interactive trainings equip individuals with the soft skills needed to thrive at work and advocate for themselves. Topics include:
- Communication and collaboration
- Problem-solving and adaptability
- Self-advocacy and confidence-building
- Professional behavior and workplace expectations
Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) for Transition
We conduct IEEs focused on transition planning for students with disabilities, supporting families and schools in identifying appropriate postsecondary goals. Services include:
- Comprehensive review of strengths, needs, and preferences
- Age-appropriate career interest and readiness assessments
- Recommendations aligned with IEP transition goals
- Detailed reports to support advocacy and planning
Training and Professional Development
We help colleges, universities, and educational institutions build inclusive, effective career services for students with disabilities. Our support includes:
- Perkins V-aligned program development
- Faculty and staff training
- Career exploration integration into CTE and academic programs
- Outcome-focused planning for post-graduation success
- Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) support
