Lincoln Square Coaching is seeking an experienced Vocational Evaluator to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Vocational Evaluator, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals identify and achieve their career goals through comprehensive vocational assessments and guidance. This position requires regular in-person availability to conduct evaluations at our Manhattan location.

• Must be available to conduct in-person evaluations at our Manhattan office
• This is a hybrid opportunity, but regular on-site presence is required
• Scheduling is flexible and may include weekends or evenings depending on the candidate's availability/desired schedule
• $30-$40 per hour, commensurate with experience
• Per diem position

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vocational assessments using various testing instruments, including aptitude, interest, personality, achievement, and work samples tests
• Interpret and integrate assessment results with medical, psychological, educational, and occupational data
• Write detailed vocational evaluation reports with clear recommendations and referrals
• Collaborate with rehabilitation counselors, case managers, employers, and educators
• Provide vocational counseling and career guidance
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring client confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling OR master's degree in a related field (social work, counseling, special education) with three years of vocational rehabilitation/employment services experience
• Current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE) certification, or ability to obtain within one year
• Completion of state-mandated continuing education or commitment to complete within one year
• Knowledge of NYC area labor market trends and vocational resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to commute regularly to Manhattan office location
• Experience with vocational assessment tools and report writing
• Knowledge of disability legislation and accommodation practices
• Proficiency in case management software
• Bilingual skills a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Basic computer usage
• Travel within the New York metro area may be required
